Scope of Work:
- Install, start-up and service ULVAC equipment and components
- Troubleshoot, analyze defects and repair our systems in the field
- Technical support in-house and onsite customers
- Sales Support for spare parts, components, service and special technical solutions
- Technical support for tests and special applications of our customers in the ULVAC laboratories
- Preventive maintenance and addressing the challenges presented by our customers
- Train customers on ULVAC products
- Additional task of the supervisor function: management responsibility for two or three field service colleagues
Qualifications:
- High technical competence i.e. Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or technician with 3-5 years of experience working on vacuum, heat treatment or semiconductor equipment
- Experience in vacuum technology is a must. Also experience in plumbing, fluids and robotics is desirable
- Experience in troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues
- Knowledge of and an attitude for working on mechanical, computer, electrical, pneumatics and electro-mechanical control systems
- Well-organized, able to work in a team as well as independently
- Speaking German and English fluently and good interpersonal skills
- High flexibility, motivation and willing to travel within Europe and overseas regularly
- For the supervisor function: Leadership experience as a group leader or similar is required, assertive and resilient personality, and proficient in crisis management
