After Sales Service Engineer

My client is part of a global chemicals group, which operate across a number of business areas including Petrochemicals, Advanced Materials and Life Sciences.

To strengthen their after-sales team, they currently have an opening for an After Sales Service Engineer to work within their Energy Solutions Division, which develops and sells lithium-ion batteries for electromobility, portable electronics and stationary applications.

Your responsibilities include:

• Independent customer support in after-sales for the field of energy storage systems
• Development of new solutions and optimization of after sales processes as well as recovery management process for private and commercial customers
• Project-related coordination of after-sales service activities with the headquarters
• Coordination and process control with service partners in Europe
• Error analysis and rectification of product faults at the plant location and in service center
• (diagnosis and repair)
• Creation of technical customer communications for major customers and installers
• Support of the sales department in the implementation of technical training for sales partners, installers and customers

Application Requirements:

• Completed degree in engineering, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, environmental engineering, natural sciences or a comparable qualification
• Have a distinct service and customer orientation experience
• Very good user knowledge in all MS Office programs
• Experience in PV installation basics, battery systems or after sales is desirable
• Knowledge in the field of renewable energies and experience with various battery inverters or energy and / or battery management systems (EMS / BMS) are an advantage
• "Working under high voltage" certification would be a plus point
• Business fluent German and English skills are required
• Flexibility and willingness to travel (20-40%)
