Job-Beschreibung und Hinweise für Applied Machine Learning Engineer (f/m/d)

Salary 90000 - 110000 CHF per year


Requirements:

- A relevant university qualification (Master / Ph.D.) in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field with focus on machine learning/ equivalent qualification
Knowledge of advanced methods in machine learning, particularly in Deep Neural Networks
Basic knowledge of state-of-the-art inference engines (e.g. OpenVino, onnxruntime, tflite) and quantization techniques is considered to be a strong asset
Proficiency in software development using languages like Python and C++ and practical experience with state-of-the-art development tools (git, cmake, different compilers,)
Interest in productising complex neural networks using latest inference engines on specialised hardware
Willingness to grow and learn to develop solutions
Strong inter-disciplinary communication and cooperation skills in cross-functional agile teams
Fluent in English, German is an advantage



Responsibilities:

- Be creative in developing novel innovative AI-assisted workflows overcoming the most urgent pain points for our customers in our next product generation
Accompany all development stages of specific novel AI features from the first idea to the final productization in our next-gen products
Enjoy solving complex algorithmic problems within a team of experienced software and hardware engineers
Deeply dive into the technical details of latest inference engines and specialized hardware accelerators for neural network processing
Help our devices to do the next evolutionary step from seeing to understanding their surroundings using for example object-tracking, re-identification or object segmentation
