Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

The home entertainment provider, film distributor, and book publisher AV Visionen is the market leader for Japanese animation in German-speaking Europe. Working alongside the global Crunchyroll team, we administer an integrated product line including graphic novels, home video (DVD/Blu-ray) with KAZÉ. Since December 2019, the company has been part of the US Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll.
AV Visionen organizes the localization of foreign films, series, and books for the German market and publishes them under the brands KAZÉ Anime, KAZÉ Manga, and Eye See Movies. Among the most famous titles are Dragon Ball, One Piece, Sailor Moon, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, and Detective Conan.
About You:
As our Approval Coordinator, you will be performing all necessary tasks to ensure the quality of German translated Anime publications. We are looking for applicants who can carry out detail-oriented tasks thoroughly and accurately, are fluent in Japanese and English, and have a general interest in Anime and Manga.
- You are fluent in Japanese and English (German is a big plus)
- You are able to do written translations from Japanese to English (German is a big plus)
- You understand Japanese culture
- You are a team player and are able to communicate with other departments
- You have strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and other presentation software
- Responsible for proofreading all our Anime releases
- Keep track of our release deadlines
- Responsible for sending our final product and final marketing materials to Japan
- Communicate with our Japanese licensors
- Work closely with our production team and marketing team
