Job-Beschreibung und Hinweise für Area Sales manager MENA (m/f/d)


My duties

  • Achieving sales targets, budgets and mid-range plans
  • Regular contact with customers
  • Be responsible for a selected group of customers and API producers
  • Coordinate sales support for all API portfolio products
  • Rolling forecast, budget and medium term planning
  • Collect market data and information and analyze trends on the market in coordination with the Business Analyst department
  • Monitor sales and contribution and implement corrective measures for negative deviations
  • Cover the customers' needs by visits, written and telephone communications
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key and target accounts
  • Improvement of business processes pertaining to the department
  • Communicate to the Sales Director MEA regarding business risks, opportunities and critical information

My qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering or Business) preferred
  • Sales experience in the region
  • Business Development experience
  • Drug substance knowledge (API) and relevant industry expertise
  • Authority to negotiate contracts and offer pricing within the approval framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Languages – French/Arabic and English mandatory
  • Ability to work effectively with people of all levels and cultures
  • A team player who shows initiative, flexibility, and energy
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong success-oriented thinking and handling
  • Capacity to communicate and convince transversal functions (e.g: QA, Regulatory Affairs, Product management)
  • Up to 40% travel required (MENA-Region)
