Your tasks
- Independently support our online statistics database by developing data partnerships with market research firms and database providers
- Bring an understanding of key data providers in the UK market and work with the Business Development team to identify new partnership solutions
- Work with our editorial and sales teams, to research and locate strategic partners
- Seek out appropriate contacts and decision-makers in an organization
- Take care of prospecting, generating leads, and cold calling prospective data partners
- Present and pitch our offer effectively and professionally to C-level prospects
- Deal with complex deals and develop adequate solutions accordingly
- Negotiate contracts
- Establish and build long-term relationships with new strategic data partners
- Core market: the UK, Further responsibility for additional markets according to content strategy
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically
- Ability to work independently towards targets and collaboratively in an international team
- Ability to learn required tools quickly
- Well-structured, self-organized, independent, and quality-conscious working method
- Effective in building trust, thinking strategically, and communicating clearly with decision-making contacts
- 1-2 years of work experience in business development/sales or similar fields preferred
- Knowledge of the Market Research industry is a plus
- An extroverted team player with a hands-on approach
