Job description
In your new role you will:
- Define state-of-the-art mixed signal design and implementation methodologies
- Own and drive Mixed signal Methodology topics
- Drive best practices and lessons learnt from evaluations/benchmarks and customer interactions back into Methodology development
- Share knowledge with other analog/digital methodology experts at Infineon
- Document methodology and evaluation results
- Closely cooperate with analog circuit and physical design engineers, as well as with the digital design counterparts
You demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people and communicate openly, clearly, and coherently.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree in Electrical/Microelectronic/Computer Science Engineering
- 3+ years of direct Industry experience
- A strong understanding of Analog and digital design methodologies
- Good understanding of IC technology
- Good software programming and scripting skills (PERL, TCL, Python, SKILL)
- Experience with Cadence or Synopsys EDA tools
- Knowledge of behavioral Modelling
- Knowledge of Low Power Implementation and UPF
- Good language skills in German and English
We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
