CARGO REPRESANTATIVE
Jop Description:
1- To develop relations with agents, customers and the companies operating in the industry; to find new markets; and to announce fares/charges, regulations and innovations to the agents.
2- Inquiries and assesses the available and possible cargo potentials at her/his region; and informs the Regional Cargo Manager; and issues a report for such purpose, when and if required.
3- Establishes and improves cooperation with the cargo agents and other airlines, in order to find cargo for flights of the Company. Realizes visits to agents, and sales-marketing activities as per the marketing program.
4- Monitors and implements any procedures, instructions and international publications regarding cargo charges and regulations.
5- Takes the actions required for systematical performance of cargo sales and services at her/his region.
6- Contributes to achievement of all targets of the process, where she/he serves, by acting in accordance with policies of the Company.
7- Applying sales strategies, arrange regular sales calls and visits to regular customers.
8- Add new customers to our portfolio to maximize sales revenues, load factors and yields.
9- Maintain good working relationship and resolve any issues or complaints, if needed.
10- Manage reservations and bookings based on available capacity,
11- Cargo planning, promotion and utilization of cargo capacity.
12- Provide cargo operations and customer service functions.
13- Provide regular reports on sales and load factors.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum High School graduation (Associate or Bachelors University degree is preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in civil aviation or logistics
- Knowledge of Cargo operations through understanding of Airline Cargo Sales including pricing strategies
- Competency with MS Office products
- Have good command of written and spoken English & German Language
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and business contact in a courteous and professional manner
