The role
The Chief People Officer, reporting directly to the CEO, will create an HR strategy that feeds into LHG’s business goals & overall strategy, making LHG a leading workplace, attracting top talent, and providing them with opportunities to develop and grow. We are looking for someone with an inclusive perspective and the ability to lead a team while driving multiple complex projects at once with a hands-on approach. Staying close to the daily business and determining priorities, responsibilities and clear goals are key as many key deliverables, including the HR strategy itself, are designed from scratch.
Your responsibilities
- Leading and developing an international HR-team of 20+ people in over 5 international offices
- Motivating and coaching team members
- Organizational Development as a business partner to CEO & management board with a focus on corporate culture, diversity & inclusion
- Talent management with career plans, development opportunities & succession planning for each employee (including leadership development)
- Compensation and benefits including a coherent grading structure, salary-bands, bonus-system & perks Program
- Scoping out a roadmap to make us feel even more like one great team after this merger
- Definition and implementation of employer branding, recruiting & talent acquisition strategy
- Employee relations, process & policy with a focus on retention, wellbeing & engagement
- Accompanying future acquisitions, mergers, and integrations as HR business partners
Your qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced, growing HR environment, 5 years+ in leading international teams & building structures, processes, and organizations
- Lead an international 15+ FTE human resources team
- An empowering leader, who trusts in people and their team with a proven track record in setting up an HR strategy in line with the company strategy
- A hands-on person with a history of getting things done
- Analytic mindset, able to build bridges between a KPI-driven & empathetic approach
- Ideally has accompanied acquisitions, mergers as well as post-merger integrations from an HR angle
- Availability for occasional travel between Bath, UK and Berlin
- Experience in workforce planning including headcount, succession etc.
