Responsibilities
In your new role, you will:
- Define, assess and own detailed Product Requirements for Industrial Microcontrollers based on analyzing application and stakeholder requirements
- Interact with key customers and system manufacturers for stakeholder requirements capturing and translate target technical value drivers into product requirements
- Perform technical synchronization with lead customers in Product Creation phase
- Perform peer-review of product architecture, safety concept, hardware/software requirement
- Support R&D functions regarding clarification of technical details, e.g. for features, performance and quality
- Support customer validation of prototypes, preferably in evaluation boards or customer systems, to find bugs quickly and accelerate time to market
- Provide reports regarding product performance / benefits and limitations / challenges to Applications Marketing and Product Marketing
- Engage with Product / Application Marketing and System Architect to prioritize the features and feed into product (and application) roadmaps
- Provide documentation and training on product to Product Application Engineer, System Application Engineer and Field Application Engineer

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
- A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or similar
- At least 6 years of professional experience related to IC product definition or application engineering in the semiconductor industry
- Experience with ARM® CORTEX® microcontroller is an advantage
- Expert knowledge of analog, digital and mixed-signal devices
- Programming skills in C
- Preferably experience with motor and power control
- Fluent English and good German skills (as a plus)
