How you can get involved

Our Strategic Business Segment (SBS) Consumer is responsible for the B2C brand portfolio and thus for a large proportion of our global sales. As one of the leading international companies in the field of drinking water optimization, we offer our customers a broad range of product and service solutions. A key success factor of our global role within BRITA is the close interaction and collaboration with our local marketing and sales teams.

SBS Consumer is jointly managed by the three functions Strategic Sales, Strategic Marketing and Strategic Engineering to ensure product success and results orientation. The Strategic Sales Consumer (SSC) function is divided into our Global Sales Team, Strategic Partner Business, e-Commerce and the newly created Revenue Management and Pricing team.

As the leader of this team, you will shape key elements of the SBS Consumer strategy, its further development and implementation for SBS Consumer, develop and initiate measures for price, revenue and profitability management including taking over project leadership such as Customer Profitability- (“Pay for Performance”) and Channel- Management. Furthermore, together with your team you will establish sustainable tools and monitoring mechanisms to track decisions related to pricing, trade terms and channel management targets and develop and implement measures to increase the efficiency of the Consumer Sales organization including training to efficiently drive pricing within the organization (e. g. when using customer data insights and sell-out data). In addition, you will represent Strategic Sales Consumer in strategy relevant product development projects and collaborate internationally across all BRITA regions. In this role, you will ensure that the BRITA organization adapts to new customer negotiation terms, is acting in line with Compliance requirements and secures and/ or significantly increases the profitability of the Consumer business. You will be responsible for international pricing execution on customer level so far applicable.

In specific, the tasks can be summarized as follows:

  • You will act as a key stakeholder to ensure the execution of the agreed SBS Consumer strategy by supporting the SVP Strategic Sales Consumer in all relevant strategic SBS (Sales) matters, such as the development of tools and templates to drive pricing/revenue management and profitability targets including channel management initiatives.
  • Together with your team, you will be the hub for developing, supporting and aligning global pricing and profitability decisions.
  • In collaboration with relevant Regional Management, Strategic Marketing Consumer and Strategic Sales Consumer functions, you will actively optimize the SBS Channel Management strategy by driving brand and product transformation.
  • You will champion the continuous improvement and professionalization of collaboration within SBS Consumer, e.g. by ensuring continuous training for the SBS Sales organization to improve negotiation and revenue management skills or by supporting the availability of common templates and tools to further professionalize SBS Sales work.
  • Leading a team of two employees and their further professional development

You will be well-equipped for the role if you can demonstrate the following

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Finance & Controlling and several years of management experience in the FMCG or consulting industry with a focus on Pricing combined with successful project management experience
  • Strong analytical understanding with proven skills in pricing management, revenue management, finance/controlling, legal & compliance
  • Ideally international background with deep cross-cultural understanding and ability to motivate cross-functional and/or international teams
  • Strong analytical thinking, good understanding of numbers and financial implications in the overall SBS context, combined with results orientation and ability to prioritize and focus
  • Compelling leadership personality coupled with the ability to strike a healthy balance between strategic skill and pragmatic action; someone who acts as a role model, develops teams and impresses with high social, intercultural skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility coupled with a "hands on" and "can-do" mentality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English at all levels
