Job-Beschreibung und Hinweise für CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (FEEDER)

As a dynamic team member in the Customer Service Feeder team in Hamburg, your primary responsibility will be to proactively process booking requirements from customers resulting in the optimal utilization of the vessels while ensuring the customers’ demands and needs are highly prioritized.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and building relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Answering sailing requests, creating pre-bookings in system
  • Booking updates and ensuring bookings data correctness
  • Daily capacity check and capacity planning, checking deep sea vessels connections
  • Maintain close contact with internal stakeholders
  • Stowage readiness coordination, sending loading lists to terminals, preparing IMO documents
  • Coordination of cargo readiness
  • Finalizing vessel’s documentation
  • Prior experience in customs handling is beneficial


Requirements

  • Dynamic and agile profile with operational skills and profound knowledge in logistics and/or shipping
  • Experience/education in logistics/ shipping
  • Very good command of English and German language, any further will be a strong asset, such as Dutch
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Good organizational skills, attention to details and conscientiousness
  • Analytical skills, creativity in idea generating and problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to adapt to a new environment easily
