Salary 105000 - 115000 CHF per year
Requirements:
- - University degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
- Valid Swiss working permit or EU citizenship
- 2+ years of industrial experience as a software engineer or equivalent role
- Ability to write production-quality code in at least one of the modern languages like Python, Java or Scala
- Knowledge of distributed and real-time systems like e.g. Spark, Kafka, Flink existing work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud technologies existing work experience is a plus
- Experience with data engineering challenges like handling large data volumes or poly structured data
- Basic understanding of machine learning theory and practice
- Strong command of English, German is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland if needed for projects
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- You are a proactive team player with the ability to work independently and accurately in interdisciplinary projects
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop near-real-time and batch data intensive applications that run both in the cloud and on premise.
- Apply your knowledge of software engineering and data modeling, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and tools, to build production-quality analytical and operational solutions
- Work closely together with customer stakeholders in agile environments to create solutions that actually make a difference
- Review, audit and troubleshoot existing solutions and system architectures
- Explore available technologies to provide business support to our clients
- Get involved in Scigility internally, e.g.:
- Provide input to help shaping our technology strategy
- Do tech sessions to promote sharing internal knowledge
- Participate in pre-sales activities
- Be a mentor for new-joiners
