As a Data Visualization Analyst Working Student, you will be part of a growing Analytics & Business Intelligence team of highly skilled individuals with diverse backgrounds and interests.
You will turn business questions into clear analytical tasks and search for answers leveraging your exceptional data analysis and data visualization skills.
In your role, you will work closely with our data scientists and internal stakeholders and have a direct impact on the business by working on various projects that aim at improving and extending our reporting capabilities and finding new insights within our data.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Creating new intuitive and insightful dashboards using the BI software Looker
- Describing data structures using LookML (e.g., models, views) to make working with data easier for business users throughout the organization
- Helping internal stakeholders explore data and build new visualizations with LookML
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve our reporting and ensuring that suggestions for improvements are being implemented
- Becoming the go-to person for questions about our reporting landscape and the expert within the data team for Looker-related questions
Your Profile
- Enrolled at a German university/college in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Physics, Engineering or a similar field with a strong analytical background
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid knowledge of wrangling and processing data (e.g. SQL, Pandas, Tidyverse)
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, QlikView) is a huge plus
- Open and sociable personality, equipped with a founder's mindset!
- Fluency in English, German skills are a plus
