The Diagnostics & Maintainability Engineering department is a main contributor to high machine availability, low total cost of ownership and high customer satisfaction. Our mission is to increase profits for customers during the entire machine life by increasing the machine availability and making the operators, dealers and mechanics more efficient.
Who are we?
Our Konz Plant Purchasing team is a team of eleven colleagues supporting products produced in VCE Konz factory. We lead the purchasing activities for new product developments, serial production as well as aftermarket and spare parts based on the sourcing strategies and the business requirements. We optimize the total cost and assure the Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives of the purchased items.

What are your tasks with us?
- You will drive the development and the product maintenance of the VCE diagnostic authoring system and related services.
- You are the Subject Matter Expert on VCE diagnostic authoring system, and the speaking partner with Volvo Group application owner regarding technical details.
- In cooperation with DnME stakeholders you will map needed or improved capabilities in the diagnostic authoring system.
- You will implement and maintain all structural and functionality requirements and align with the Service tool System Leader relevant capabilities required to meet business needs and the maintainability strategy.
What you should bring along:
- Technical degree (MSc or BSc) in engineering or equivalent.
- Experience as Diagnostic Engineer, Solution Leader or Business Analyst.
- Basic programming skills and/or Distributed Systems competence.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the VCE diagnostic authoring system and related processes.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
