Job-Beschreibung und Hinweise für Digitalization Officer (f/m/div)*

In this function you will be the overall lead for the digitalization strategies within Infineon Technologies Austria AG ensuring that IFAT is contributing to consistent implementation of Infineon’s Group Digital Agenda. You will develop and coordinate the implementation of IFAT’s digitalization strategies by integrating existing activities as well as proactively drive new ones. You will also act as the internal and external representative for digitalization topics for Infineon Technologies Austria AG.

Responsibilities


In your new role you will:
  • Contribute to IFAT’s organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing measures for digitalization in IFAT
  • Explore opportunities for digitalization in IFAT by studying organization goals, strategies, practices and user projects
  • Support and initiate relevant digitalization projects by coordinating scope, resources and timetables with user departments and central functions
  • Explore structured and systematic digitalization opportunities
  • Maintain and expand professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; contribution to internal workshops and trainings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Support and align established funding projects relating to digitalization
  • Manage and coordinate endowed professorships relating to digitalization in coordination with the IFAT Innovation Manager
  • Coordinate Big Data activities and lever opportunities
  • Setup a KPI system to measure development
  • Seek strong alignment with respective digitalization cross-site activities and corporate functions (+ Digitalization Agenda on coporate level)
This role can be based in Villach, Graz or Linz.

Your Profile


You are able to take over conceptual leadership, translate the strategy into ambitious goals and make sure that it becomes a binding guideline for people’s actions. You know the key factors of successful innovations and foster the necessary conditions particularly considering the organizational set-up of this position as part of Infineon’s matrix organization. You communicate openly, clearly and coherently and show consideration for cultural differences. You are a lateral thinker with the courage to go new ways and have the ability to inspire others. Your network within IFAT and your connections into IFAG’s organization in Munich and other Infineon locations complete your profile.

You are best qualified for this position if you have:
  • A Master’s or higher degree with technical background (University/University of applied sciences)
  • English & German fluent knowledge
  • Several years adequate experience in senior R&D or close to R&D, or/and Business, IT or Supply Chain function
  • Ability to manage high levels of complexity
  • A business-minded approach towards implementation
  • Strong interest and experience in digitalization trends (big data, cyber physical solutions, internet of things, human machine interaction etc.), experience in implementation of digitalization approaches is essential
  • Good understanding of the entire value chain in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience in change management

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2021.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
