ABOUT VINFAST

After a highly successful start in Vietnam, VinFast will enter the European market. The target launch date is mid-2022. The company’s first offering will be a dedicated EV SUV. To achieve its entry date, VinFast is currently executing on a comprehensive launch plan that includes the manufacturing, testing, and certification of the vehicle that will be produced in Vietnam.

A European marketing, sales and distribution entity has been established to sell and service VinFast products in VinFast showrooms established throughout France, Germany and the Netherlands.


VinFast is currently recruiting its Sales teams for its corporate office in Germany, but also in France and in the Netherlands.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Operations function is made of several teams responsible for developing and executing processes that enable the sale and delivery of VinFast vehicles to consumers. As the Director of Sales Operations this role is responsible for managing these teams to ensure that customer orders are managed, and customer deliveries are successful.


RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

· Day-to-day management and oversight of the following teams:

· Vehicle Fleet and Delivery – developing and managing carflows to ensure production orders are placed and vehicles are moving through the supply chain to meet delivery ETAs

· Purchase verification and vehicle registration – processing of purchase documentation and registration of vehicles in compliance with local DMV policies

· Sales systems administration – operational support and expertise of core Sales systems, supporting headquarters and VinFast store locations in conjunction with IT

· Oversee day to day country financing Operations to achieve Sales and Delivery plan.

· Key stakeholder for financing partners to define efficient processes/flows and solve systems issues to meet Sales and Delivery targets

· Sales Planning and Analysis – creating custom analyses to understand performance against KPIs, evaluation of competitiveness versus the market, and development of standard reporting of Sales activities

· Manage of the daily operations with business partners such as transport companies, car detailing companies, b2b customers…

· Collaborate with other functions and areas of the business to ensure a seamless customer sales experience and remove friction points (Inside Sales, Regional Sales, B2B Sales)

· Monitor employee productivity against targets for KPIs tied to overall sales and company performance

· Develop performance summaries and action plans for presentations to executives as necessary

· Train and mentor new team members

· Explore opportunities for continuous improvement of the sales and purchase experience for VinFast consumers

· Establish and reinforce a positive and inclusive culture focused on hard work, innovative thinking and having fun


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive work experience in automotive OEM operations

· Experience managing teams as part of larger functional role in automotive

· Proven track record of success in achieving operational targets

· Automotive electric vehicle (EV) experience not required but a plus

· Experience in a start-up environment or with new product launches not required but a plus

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Strong relationship building and management skills

· High levels of attention to detail and organization

· Proficiency in business productivity tools and software (MS office suite, CRM applications)

· Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.

· Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with US executive leadership, internal stakeholders, peers, and external partners.
