Our expansion team is fast, efficient, organised and very hands-on. Within your SWAT teams, you will need to manage and execute in a timely manner. You will cover a variety of topics from real estate acquisition to engaging local partnerships, whilst following and developing our Launch Playbook. Our expansion team enables the Gorillas mission to spread across the globe efficiently and quickly.
Responsibilities
- You will be the project owner for new location/city launches
- You will execute all tasks necessary to launch a new location ranging from managing the project timeline to building up shelves
- You will hire, onboard, and train the first Gorillas staff in your location
- You will be in the field launching our new warehouse/darkstore
- You will be fully responsible for the success and timeliness of the launch of your location
- You will help define and optimize the processes of a launch and our launch playbook
- You will work together with the central Expansion team to analyze and define the project scope
- You will be on-site for the first week after launch to ensure that our culture is reflected
- You will communicate with many different external stakeholders and across many different internal departments e.g. suppliers, warehouse staff, partners, etc.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top tier university
- Gained first-hand experience in a fast-paced environment (consulting, startup, VC, etc.)
- View yourself as an entrepreneur and you are eager to make change happen - launching a new Gorillas location is almost like launching your own startup
- You are willing to make Gorillas your mission and are ready to put a lot of hard work into making this business a success
- You have a hands-on mentality and are thrive on getting your hands dirty
- Possess great communication skills and are proficient in both written and spoken English and German
