Job-Beschreibung und Hinweise für G&A HR Operations Director

WHAT YOU'LL DO


In this role, you will work closely and collaboratively with senior stakeholders to shape and drive the strategic agenda for our HR Operations across G&A and beyond, ensuring that our operations platform, structure, and processes evolve in support of our business needs. Your passion for excellence will translate into driving change and continuous improvement of our HR Operations function.

You will have direct operational responsibility for four Centers of Expertise (Legal, Compensation & Benefits, HR & Mobility, and HR Solutions) as well as the affiliated teams. This includes developing and leveraging state-of-the-art expertise for all business units, ensuring best-in-class HR practices, and looking for creative ways to drive efficiencies as we get scale. Additionally, you will be responsible for harmonizing and streamlining operational HR processes and set-up.

You will drive excellence in our HR Operations functions and ensure alignment of HR processes:

  • You’ll proactively develop innovative solutions for our HR offerings across cohorts and entities (including hosted roles and ABMs).
  • You’ll harmonize and streamline HR policies and processes across ONE BCG.
  • You’ll identify opportunities for process improvements and work collaboratively with our HR and Finance functions to drive change and a seamless integration of HR Operations.
  • You’ll drive our HR digitalization efforts and initiatives (incl. Workday, DocuWare, etc.)
  • You’ll ensure that appropriate risk management policies and procedures are in place and take prompt action in case of any identified gaps, incl. compliance with GDPR.

  • You’re skilled at problem-solving and navigating complex stakeholder groups to deliver pragmatic win-win outcomes to HR issues.
  • You’re able to distill information into key issues, drawing out insights and setting a course of action.
  • You’re good at managing ambiguity and setting an agenda, and you have the self-motivation needed to drive day-to-day activities.
  • You enjoy developing people, both direct reports and through indirect coaching.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in HR and/or the consulting industry.
  • You have demonstrated HR experience with an understanding of professional services.
  • You’ve acquired project and change management experience.
  • You have strong computer skills and you’re familiar with NWOW tools—Excel, PPT, Slack, and Trello
  • You have relevant educational qualifications such as an HR or business degree

YOU'LL WORK WITH


You will report to our G&A HR and Operations Senior Director and work closely with the G&A HR Directors and HR Managers, the G&A Finance Team as well as with the global/regional HR Network. In this role, you will be supported by the Leads of our four Centers of Excellence and their teams.
