Fraser Dove International is working exclusively with a leading and established pharmaceutical organisation specialising in manufacturing lifesaving products. Operating worldwide, our client distributes their innovative products on a global scale to help those in need.
Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to manage their engineering teams over 7 sites.

Your objectives:
As the Global Head of Engineering, you will be measured against the following objectives:
1) Defining an engineering strategy for 7 production sites.
2) Setting up and implementing KPI structure for the Engineering teams.
3) Define and roll out Maintenance and repair ‘toolbox’ to achieve cost savings and improve equipment reliability & efficiency.
What you will do:
As the Global Head of Engineering, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Manage/oversee all major Engineering projects (preparation of the business case, alignment of all major stakeholders on project scope, planning, Capex approval process support, suppliers and contractor’s selection and coordination, construction management, commissioning, qualification, and handover).
· Define and roll out the Maintenance and repair ‘toolbox’, to achieve cost savings and improve equipment reliability & efficiency.
· Support and development of site Engineering organizations.
· Define a concept for spare parts management (product assortment, stock levels, storage locations, etc.)
· Create annual Site Engineering targets and track KPIs and cost savings.
What you will bring:
These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Global Head of Engineering:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or an equivalent business degree.
· Strong GMP knowledge with technical expertise and understanding of manufacturing equipment.
· At least 8 years of hands-on experience in managing major and complex pharmaceutical projects mainly in Solid Dosage and Packaging.
· Experience in budget preparation and controlling
· Excellent team leadership skills and ability to lead in a matrix structure
· High level of communication skills and assertiveness; ability to escalate issues as needed
· Fluent in German and English.
· Willingness to travel (20-30%).
