We are looking for recent or soon to be graduate with native or C1 level German language skills to help us launch and scale ChefCoco across Berlin and Europe.
What is ChefCoco?
ChefCoco is everyone's personal chef.
Simply enter your health and taste preferences and get personalised meals delivered daily in reusable containers. Healthy, affordable and sustainable.
We have launched our service in Berlin and are backed by top founders and angel investors who have backed Zalando, SumUp, Auto1, flaschenpost, home24 and McMakler in their early days.
What you can expect?
- You will work directly with the two founders of ChefCoco, taking ownership from day 1
- You will join an international team that has worked in over 5 countries
- We work in a meritocracy meaning your ideas will be listened to and treated at the same level as a founder
- As an early member of the team you will be on the fast track to accelerate your career as we grow provided you are executing and delivering on the agreed objectives
- You will work on the most important projects in the company and will be given a high level of responsibility form day 1
Responsibilities
- It's ok if you don't know how to do the items listed below, but you should be willing to learn
- You will lead our business operations. This means running our dark kitchen and managing our riders.
- This includes but is not limited to:
- Menu creation: Selecting meals for our weekly menus, removing low performing meals
- Managing our Chefs: Making sure we have given our chefs the right information to ensure we prepare the right amount of each meal so that all our customers meals are ready in time
- Managing & Hiring Riders: Making sure we have enough riders to deliver meals from our kitchen to customers on time
Who we are looking for?
- You are a native German speaker or have C1 level skills. If you are a native German speaker and think your English is rough, that is ok. It will improve working with our team.
- You can demonstrate ambition and intelligence, this could be at university or outside.
- Previous working experience in consulting, investment banking, startups or similar fast-paced, dynamic environments is nice but not required.
