Responsibilities:
- The Vontobel DevOps Core team is part of the Application Security organization unit within Vontobels Technology and Platform division. It is not only responsible for the establishment of high-quality services related to DevOps, but also actively supports and collaborates with Vontobels DevOps guild and DevOps community. You will be working with security experts, fullstack developers and various business functions from different IT departments and business units that all rely on having a stable infrastructure every day.
You will...
- Gain a deep understanding of the entire DevOps universe at Vontobel, including the underlying platform with its security aspects
- Experience DevOps in the financial sector both from the perspective of a platform owner as well as of a full stack software developer
- Acquire profound knowledge of security concerns within the DevOps field and become an ambassador of the DevSecOps principle
- Rotate through teams focusing on different areas of DevOps (modules): Platform, Code Security, Governance, Software Development on-prem and Software Development in the cloud
- Develop software as a member of the DevOps Core team, Data Science team as well as Vontobel Digital Hub and work in agile scrum teams
- Collaborate in the setup of CI/CD Pipelines, help design Vontobels customized Developer Workplace and Code Hosting Suite
- Gain a deep understanding of Secrets Management, SAST, DAST and 3rd party library analyses
- Deliver valuable results in exciting infrastructure and business projects and provide a substantial contribution to our DevOps platform
- Obtain all necessary skills to work as a DevOps expert not only having the expertise as fullstack software engineer, but also as a DevOps platform owner

As Graduate trainee, your program Mentor will act as your overall coach and accompanies you during the whole journey while the module coaches will introduce you to specific areas of the program. As a DevOps Core team member, you will also be able to participate in various community activities (Tech Talks, Capture the Flag Events), be part of the bigroom planning, and collaborate on creative tasks related to software design, or software architecture.
