As a recruiting partner of Sunrock Holding, we are looking for exactly you as Grid Connection Manager (a) to strengthen their team in Düsseldorf. In this position you are responsible to submit and manage medium voltage grid connections, securing the grid connection point for the project and manage the process with the grid operator. You will work in a team together with the Project Manager and the Project Developer. Functionally, you report to the Director Operations Germany. What You Will Be Doing

You will take full control of the grid capacity/connection requests to the grid operators
You are responsible to manage the grid connection processes from the initial phase until commissioning
You will create a grid operator overview of Germany and understand the different requirements
You will work closely with our electrical planer and EPC to provide the correct project information to the grid operator
You will be the main contact person for the grid operator
You will create and establish new internal processes for organizing the grid connections
You will build a strong relationship to the DNO/TSO

What You Bring To The Job

You have completed a university degree or gained relevant work experience in the renewable energy environment
You have basic knowledge of AC voltage / medium voltage technology
You are assertive, analytical, and self-empowered to take charge in your own work to succeed
You are energetic and find solutions where others already gave up
You are passionate about renewable energies and eager to build up a competence center “grid connection” within Sunrock Germany

Travel RequirementsDay trips within Germany (Düsseldorf, Hamburg, München) 10-20%
Ge: C1 – Advanced
En: B2 – Upper Intermediate

Nice-to-Haves

Ideally you have some years of relevant working experience with DNO/TSO
Ideally you have a degree in renewable energies (or related fields) as an engineer or technician
