As the Head of Engineering - Shop (f/m/d) you are the technology leader who drives the technical vision for the ecommerce of MYTOYS GROUP.
You will:
- Drive the cloud strategy towards a fully scalable, high performance and cost optimised platform
- Align the technochlogy strategy with our buisness goals and explore innovative technologies
- Push the technical architecture of our proprietary shop platform to perfection
- Be responsible for the leadership of our frontend and backend teams in Berlin and our Techlab in Madrid
- Build strong relationships with peers in our senior management team
- Encourage interaction between our product and software development teams
- Implemend technology standards and manage best practices in software engineering
You need to have:
- Experience in managing multiple agile teams
- Strong knowlegde in architecture (ecommerce or digital)
- Experience in working, meeting and managing with stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of building strong software engineering teams
- Be metrics-driven and an excellent communicator
- Fluent English language skills
