Head of Operational Excellence for Supply Center Bergkamen (f/m/d)
Bergkamen's Supply Center is Bayer's largest site for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Active pharmaceutical ingredients from Bergkamen help to make a better life possible for people around the world.
The Operational Excellence unit is responsible, among other things, for establishing a culture of work and improvement in which we - incorporating the diverse perspectives, ideas and experience of all employees - work together to achieve our goals, in line with our values.
We are now looking for a dedicated talent as Head of Operational Excellence (f/d/m) to drive forward transformation projects at the site. The following
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
complete the candidate's area of responsibility:
- Owner of Product Supply System Progress for Supply Center (SC) Bergkamen
- Drive Strategy Deployment Process to support the site leadership team to deploy business strategies towards 100% individual work plans
- Design and implement Performance Dialogue Cascades for all levels across the organisation
- Manage the OE community at the Supply Center to develop standards and best practices
- Represent the SC Bergkamen as an active member of the global Bayer OE Community
- Be project lead (f/d/m) for our Site Transformation Program and drive Bergkamen's site cost efficiency program
- Drive the overall leadership cultural change through the site leadership team
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree (Master/Diploma) in engineering or natural sciences; a PhD is preferred
- An acknowledged operational leader (m/f/d) with a proven success in delivering breakthrough results on-the-floor (Production, Lab, Maintenance, Project or Planning experience)
- Experience as plant manager (m/f/d)/ area engineer (m/f/d) in chemical/pharmaceutical operations is of advantage
- Ability to motivate, challenge and connect the Supply Center's employees of all hierarchies
- Capability to bridge from the micro on-the-floor to the macro PS strategy and analyse and support business delivery plans
- High social, integrative and communication competencies
- Strong in managing ambiguity and collaboration
- Business fluent in German is a must; very good English skills, both written and spoken, is required
