Head of Real Estate Development
Our client has a fast-growing real estate department and is looking to fill the newly created position "Head of Development" in the asset classes Residential, Commercial and Logistics.
Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the implementation of project developments as well as technical support of the existing portfolio
- Preparations for the creation of building rights
- Determination of type and scope of necessary construction measures, preparation of cost budgets, negotiation with and coordination of service providers
- Technical evaluation of the real estate portfolio as well as properties to be purchased with regard to building fabric, existing building services and equipment as well as preparation of proposals for further building use
- Accompaniment of purchase and sales negotiations
- Continuous strategic development of the division
Profile
- Completed studies (civil engineering, architecture or comparable)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the real estate sector
- Knowledge of German contract and construction law
- Strong conceptual skills for the continuous strategic development of the division
- Self-initiative and independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working
- Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, negotiation skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent in German and English
