The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the HR and Operations teams at Eataly, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's strategic vision and culture by anticipating/planning for, implementing, and evaluating People policies, programs, and practices.
The HR Generalist represents HR to the teams in the store, focusing on ensuring a solid connection between the field and the corporate center.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
The position will report into the HRBP with the following main responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Works with managers to make coaching and development of employees a daily activity; develops and delivers foundational training programs
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 2+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Ability to work efficiently and resourcefully in a hands-on fluid environment; operational mindset
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding active listening skills; ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- German and English knowledge, Italian a plus
