We are looking for a HR Generalist Germany to join us. We are currently seeking a passionate, hard-working individual to take ownership of our people and HR and processes in Germany. You will be responsible for running the HR operations and administration to ensure an engaging and consistent working experience for all our people. The mission of the HR Generalist is to provide operational excellence throughout all people topics as well as the foundation for scaling our business in Germany.You will work very closely with our HR department in the Netherlands to transform and adjust the HR strategy and vision to the German team. The ideal candidate has experience in the HR field, is a natural coach and feels good about helping others. Great communication skills and a love for people and sports are key. This role reports to our Country Manager Germany.Key ResponsibilitiesCovering all aspects of the Rocycle employee lifecycle, such as processes for contracting, on- and offboarding, perks and benefits and sickness and leaveFirst point of contact and advisor for employees and managers relating all HR topicsAct as a partner to the management team to advise on people and organizational matters and manage relationships with stakeholders and external entitiesSupport and continuous improvement of HR organization and projects in GermanyMaintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliancePartner with our HR and Finance Team in the Netherlands to manage the preparation of our monthly payroll by providing relevant data and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payrollKnowledge of HR law and regulations, manage complex HR cases and provide guidance in the event of workplace conflicts or complaintsWorking closely with other departments such as payroll and recruitment to help contribute to a great employee experienceProcessing and implementing a performance management /appraisal- /evaluation systemHelp Recruitment with sourcing process in Germany; i.e. identifying and connecting with the right candidates via recruiting network e.g. direct search/LinkedinWhat we can offerCompetitive salary and benefitsFlexible working hours and autonomy in making decisionsExtended Holiday allowanceMultiple benefits like partner discounts, free rocycle classesBroaden your skill set with access to additional training or workshopsBeing part of a growing international fitness brandA happy and healthy work environmentOpportunities for growthJob requirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in the HR fieldPreferable experience in an international environment in entertainment, hospitality or fitness industry and familiar with an entrepreneurial and/or start-up environmentFamiliarity with HR/HRIS systemsExceptional organisational skills and the ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed informationPeople-oriented, with a customer service mindset and an empathetic approach to solving problemsSolid understanding of German & general European labor law regulations, and used to working with global teamsDrive for constant improvement and development within the companyExcellent in English, both written and spokenWillingness to travel (min. once per month meeting in Berlin, regular visits studio)Living in Germany
