What You Will Do
- Support the responsible Purchasing Managers in planning, executing and monitoring purchasing processes, especially for our EMEA project business
- Coordination of our suppliers regarding supply chain topics together with different interfaces from the project business (Logistics Managers, Project Managers, etc.)
- Maintenance of our cost and supplier database
- Co-development and optimization of our national and international purchasing processes
- Development and maintenance of close supplier relationships
- Analysis of price, market and competition data and development of appropriate concepts and action strategies
- Supporting the Purchasing team wherever help is needed (especially administrative topics)
- Potentially: Assisting in the global identification and evaluation of potential suppliers
What You Bring
- Degree in business administration, engineering or another comparable qualification
- First professional experience in Purchasing or Sales
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Business-fluent in English; other language skills are a plus
- Distinct stakeholder-approach, coupled with a high sensitivity for different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
- Hands-on and solution-oriented approach of work
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- Availability to work at least 35 hours per week for the next 5-6 months
