As Director Strategy and Business Development at Infineon’s Automotive Division, you contribute to the long-term development of the automotive business paving the way for future mobility.
Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
- Shape Infineon's Automotive division-level strategy preparation and related orchestration regarding growth initiatives – as part of readiness activities related to the transformation of the automotive industry
- Lead Automotive division’s industry and governmental relations related activities - working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in the HQ as well as around the world
- Lead division's activities at the industry organizations, think tanks, associations in line with division's strategies
- Advise division’s leadership team on division strategy and business development bridging among the key stakeholders within the division and Infineon corporate functions
- Drive exchange between internal and external opinion leaders as a key input to ensure proaction in terms of business portfolio
Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you:
- Have a degree in electrical engineering, physical science (e.g. physics, chemistry) or business administration; MBA or CFA is a plus
- Gained extensive expertise in a relevant professional domain for example in consulting or technology companies
- Have a deep understanding of finance, strategy, end markets, market trends as well as semiconductor trends
- Are experienced in the project management of a virtual or functional project set-up; experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Have multi-year experience in C-level communication and enjoy using your excellent communication skills to gather and weave multidisciplinary information into a comprehensible story
- Are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation, both within your own team as well as with various internal stakeholders, such as business units or operations
- Have excellent English skills coupled with business fluent German skills
