We’re Getir, the pioneers of super-fast delivery. We deliver groceries such as sandwiches to shampoo, dog food to beer, in an average of ten minutes. Founded in 2015, we now deliver hundreds of thousands of orders a day from more than 300 locations in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Netherlands and Turkey. In 2021, we plan to rock the streets and doorsteps of many, many more cities across the world, including the USA, spreading the experience and wonder of seamless, super-fast delivery that simply works for everyone. As we expand our operations globally, it’s vital that we onboard an experienced Live Operations Manager to join us on this adventure as part of our growing Performance team here at Getir Germany!
What You’ll Do At Getir
- Be responsible to coordinate action on ad hoc operational challenges
- Lead a team of Live Operations Specialists
- Maintain team operations for a 7-day/week business
- Closely monitor live metrics and performance indicators of our operations
- Alert decision-makers on the best course of action depending on the situation
- Make data-based recommendations for improving team processes and tools
- Collaborate closely with Getir’s Operations, Performance, Dark Store and Customer Service team
What Getir Expects
- Previous experience in data analytics roles
- Direct team lead experience
- Master’s degree or similar
- Very good communication skills
- Judgment to operate autonomously
- Desire to work in an agile environment
- Excellent Excel, Tableau and data analytics skills
- Natural ability and desire to work with data
- Ability to react quickly and deal with difficult situations
- A team player mentality in which we support each other
- Advanced fluency in English - Fluency in German is a plus
- Willingness to grow and to take on new challenges when they arise
