The Company
A leading investment fund with a significantly large renewable energy portfolio of energy projects from greenfield to O&M globally (including Europe, Americas, Asia). Due to the ever-expanding portfolio, this has created the demand for an M&A Analyst to manage, evaluate, and optimise the business’ M&A portfolio.
The Role:
As M&A Analyst, you will lead and develop the analysis process of renewable energy projects, this will consist of activities such as:
- Screening and evaluating new investment opportunities with M&A department to acquire on decision-making investments in portfolio management
- Responsible for transactions such as purchase and sale of individual renewable energy projects or portfolios
- Leading models, evaluations, and analysis of business-critical decision-making projects/drivers
- Managing interactions with bankers, lawyers, project developers and financial advisors
- Financial analysis and asset management of existing portfolio assets
- Support the executive management and international subsidiaries
The Person:
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or others related
- 2+ years in M&A consulting, investment banking or the corporate M&A area of a company within renewable energy wind or solar PV
- High analytical-conceptual thinking ability
- Organised, structured and systematic, strong analysis skills, initiative, result orientated with effective communication and team spirit
- Speaks English (business fluent), German (advantageous)
