As Senior Functional Safety Quality Manager - Automotive (f/m/div)* you will be responsible for managing and securing product quality and safety throughout the product lifecycle, development and change in order to set the stage for successful and long-lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for confirmation measures to ensure ISO 26262 compliance by conducting audits, assessments and reviews
- Execute continuous assessment in ISO 26262 development projects and assess the process conformity for all safety-relevant work products
- Ensure that corrective actions for identified deviations are agreed and adequately addressed to achieve the requirements of ISO 26262
- Provide guidance to project teams for an effective and efficient achievement of compliance
- Contribute to ISO 26262-related development processes, tools and methods within the Business Line and within the Automotive Division
- Contribute to the definition and rollout of cyber security quality management role within Automotive
Your Profile

Beyond, you are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in an R&D or quality management role, ideally within the semiconductor industry
- Profound knowledge of functional safety methodology and related standards (ISO 26262, IATF 16949, ISO9001) with a relevant professional ISO 26262 certification
- Advanced experience in semiconductor technology as well as IC technology and devices
- Extensive auditing experience as lead or co-auditor would be preferred
- Advanced experience in cyber security ISO/SAE 21434
- Good knowledge of quality management systems, methods and procedures (e.g. IATF 16949, risk management, FMEA, 8D, etc.) as well as customer-related processes
- Fluent in English, basic in German would be a plus
- Willingness to travel
