We are currently seeking a Manager of Data Warehouse (x|f|m) for our Data Strategy and Management unit based at our headquarters in Goettingen or Berlin (Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH), There is an opportunity to work remotely on a regular basis and this position may be hired on a full-time or part-time basis. Your role will be to develop our data warehousing strategy. Our data warehouse is the foundation for Business Intelligence and Analytics. You will actively support the business by translating their data demands into data solutions to enable data-driven decision making at Sartorius. Your tasks
You develop, manage, and lead a high-performing team of data engineers and data warehousing experts
You oversee the design and implementation of a centralized data warehouse ecosystem
You continuously analyze the business requirements and translate them into a strategy for our data services, like data warehouse, data orchestration, and reporting
You evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve our data warehouse's scalability, performance, and flexibility with a focus on cloud computing
You define and implement new data services for governance and quality control to provide trusted data for consumption
You act as leading expert for data-driven initiatives
Your qualifications
Master degree in economics, business information systems or comparable expertise
Hands-on mentality, and you are a motivating and inspiring person with the capability to sell our data-driven culture within the whole company
Several years of working experience with business intelligence, data warehouse, and cloud data platforms
Experiences in SAP BW/Hana, Snowflake, and Azure
Experience in defining and implementing a data warehouse strategy leveraging progress in technologies and methods.
Excellent written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is a plus
