We are Getir, the pioneers of superfast deliveries. We supply our customers with groceries and everyday items. Bread, beer, shampoo and dog food? We deliver within 10 minutes on average. Founded in Istanbul in 2015, we now deliver thousands of orders every day from over 300 locations in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Turkey.
We have big plans and are growing worldwide with new locations and delivery areas. Therefore, we are looking for more colleagues who actively support us in reaching our goals and who are just as enthusiastic about the concept of 10-minute delivery as we are.
The Team
Rider Operations. Your riders are at the core of everything we do. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to action a superfast 10-minute delivery. This is why we started Rider Operations - a dedicated team that solely looks after the well-being, training and safety of our Riders and their community, as well as the smooth running of the day-to-day Rider operations.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities
- You support the entire Rider Onboarding lifecycle, including but not limited to:
- Welcoming and Onboarding new Riders
- Briefing Riders on responsibilities, guidelines and operational processes
- Allocating equipment and uniform
- Ensuring Rider undergo their Health & Safety training in collaboration with the H&S team
- Coordinate with the warehouse operations and people team to make sure onboarding and Rider allocation runs smoothly
- 1-3 years experience supporting operations in a fast-paced environment with daily changing responsibilities
- Ideally first experience onboarding employees and providing training, from within Rider, Mobility or Logistics industry a +
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, reacting quickly in an every changing environment and finding creative solutions
- A friendly, helpful and reliable personality, good customer service is at the core of everything you do
- A flexible approach as a team player with a positive can-do, will-do attitude.
- You understand the start-up culture and how to overcome potential recruitment obstacles
- Excellent communication skills that will allow you to embed and drive the Getir DNA in the team, along with ensuring all back of the house and operational procedures are adhered to.
