You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Western Union Money Transfer services and products are deployed with our business partners effectively in the Central Europe region, and that service quality and supporting objectives are consistent with strategic goals and standards. You will be responsible for leading, motivating and coaching a team of 6 Specialists based in various locations in Central Europe, and covering operations and service support activities for 25 countries. You’ll manage the day-to-day performance across the operational departments ensuring that the teams adhere to internal policies and contracts whilst demonstrating customer service excellence. You’ll use your strategic thinking and planning skills to improve productivity, create efficiencies, and coordinate between back-office teams to ensure workflow is maximised.
We need you to have progressive experience in managing a large operational team, as well as a proven track record of delivering cost-saving efficiencies. You have a real passion for delivering excellent customer service and a high degree of analytical mindset, strategic planning, and strong communication skills. You have proven experience in team management and the ability to lead, motivate a team in a collaborative environment. Fluency in English and German languages is required for this role. Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is desirable.

We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 73,421 gross per year for this position. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
