Responsibilities

In your new role you will:

be responsible for Capacity Planning Methods and Optimization in Frontend as part of the clusterwide WFM (Wip Flow Management) team
Collaborate closely with the Planning teams at the Frontend Cluster (worldwide) and
central departments
enhance and improve mathematical methods of existing Capacity Planning application (Plansim)
operate in the area of consultancy and prototyping to fulfill Infineon supply chain planning requests and use cases
work on mathematical solver optimization with Matlab/CPLEX, SQL Databases and apply your knowledge in queueing theory and data analysis
be in charge of the presentation and communication to Infineon communities for best practice sharing and decision making support

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

an university degree in Mathematics, Computer science, Engineering or similar
at least 3 years experience in mathematical solver optimization, SQL databases and data analytics
knowledge in queueing theory
Matlab/CPLEX knowledge (preferred)
good German and English skills
high analytical skills and critical thinking
a passion to work in a team, in which you can generate value with your ideas and solutions.
good communication and presentation competencies

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2021.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
