RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accountability 1: Main contact person for the corresponding Production Manager of the Oxidation unit
- Independent management of the Oxidation unit and coordination of the entire department of the Oxidation unit in Gladbeck
- Technical support of maintenance and investment measures according to optimised economic aspects, applying the relevant laws, regulations and the state of the art. This applies in particular with regard to: Oxidation Reactors, Adsorption incl. RTO, Concentration, Cleavage, internal supply systems Oxidation
- Participation in the planning for a plant shutdown
- Initiation of documentation maintenance in accordance with MOC specifications for all plant modifications in accordance with the applicable legal requirements in consultation with all departments involved
- Monitor the effectiveness of measures taken and take corrective action if they are not sufficiently effective
- Responsibility for the preparation of safety concepts and performance of the necessary analyses/threat assessments
Accountability 2: Responsible for dedicated CapEx project and Maintenance in the responsible area incl. tracking of costs and scheduling
- Planning, application, implementation and management of projects and improvement measures, with the aim of ensuring the optimum technical condition of the plant in terms of safety, availability and product quality
- Preparation of request specifications as well as technical and economic evaluation of the offers
- Calculating, tracking and monitoring costs for investment projects and ensuring that budgets and schedules are adhered to
- Preparation of the project documentation and initiation of the transfer of the necessary information in the form of a change notification into the plant documentation
Accountability 3: General
- Professional and target-oriented management of the assigned employees
- Ensuring the qualification of employees by arranging appropriate training measures and training of employees according to training plan, SHE Alerts, UWEB etc. (incl. definition of contents and review of effectiveness)
- Take care of the systematic approach related to the HAZOP activities
- Coordination of the internal investigation/improvements related to the dedicated area
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Level of education and Experience in general
- Degree in engineering technology (process technology/chemical engineering) from a university or university of applied sciences
- If possible, several years of experience as a plant or system engineer in the petrochemical industry
- Experience in managing employees
Technical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Strong ability to analytical thinking
- Basic knowledge of business administration
Behavioral skills
- High social competence and motivation of the subordinates for the goals of the company
