Project Analyst (m/f/x)Your challenge
As part of the Commercial Excellence Projects team you will support strategically important projects and the respective project teams. The fields of Commercial Excellence and Digitalization are two of the four “Must-Win-Battles” the Knauf Group has defined. Within this field Knauf is driving a multi-year agenda to build the foundation for further growth on a global level in the next decades by expanding and enabling our value offering and customer processes with digital technology and a potential-driven sales approach.
What you’ll do
You support planning, delivery and reporting of projects in the area of Commercial Excellence and Digitalization, e.g., you
- partner with project managers to ensure that all projects meet internal and external performance requirements, project documentation and file management, reporting, communication, and quality control
- work closely with project managers to lead project team coordination and communication
- assist with daily project needs and preparation of project deliverables (e.g. quantitative analysis, presentations etc.)
You support overall project controlling and budgeting in the area of Commercial Excellence and Digitalization in close collaboration with our controlling, accounting, and procurement departments, e.g., you
- maintain a comprehensive knowledge of overall project budget and financial status; work with project managers to establish budgets which meet company and client guidelines
- review financial reports, prepare monthly charging process together with the accounting department
- work closely with the procurement team to set up new vendors or the accounting team to expedite the client invoicing process
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business administration.
- You have several years of professional experience in project management, project controlling or similar; experience in construction industry preferred.
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, ProjectWise, Jira, Power BI and SharePoint are a plus.
- You characterize yourself as flexible, proactive, self-motivated, and have a high level of emotional intelligence as problem solver.
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills (German and English written and verbal).
- You bring strong attention to detail, integrity and discretion.
