Brisen Group is a high growth private real estate investor and developer in Europe, with it’s headquarter in Geneva and subsidiaries in Vienna and Baden Baden.
We are offering an opportunity to a high calibre Project Manager to join our international, experienced team with a primary responsibility to project management function of this Development. Our business has grown substantially over the past year, with many new team members joining us in our Vienna and Baden Baden offices. As we are entering into our next stage of growth with several new investments, the career potential is immense.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading and developing a high performing local project delivery team in Germany, including:
- Oversee the projects from beginning to end
- Collaborate with subcontractors and key team members of the project team
- Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
- Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
- Ensure all deadlines are met and the project is completed on time
- Delegate responsibilities
- Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
- Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
- Ensure the project adheres to building regulations and Australian Standards
- Manage all trades involved in the project
- Manage contracts with trades and other contracts
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
- Extensive previous work experience managing of 40m+ developments.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in construction management and independent handling of construction projects
- Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with senior management and to build trusted partnerships
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentational and analytical capabilities
- Excellent command of English and German are a must, other languages are preferred
