We’re Getir, the pioneers of super-fast delivery. We deliver groceries such as sandwiches to shampoo, dog food to beer, in an average of ten minutes. Founded in 2015, we now deliver hundreds of thousands of orders a day from more than 300 locations in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Netherlands and Turkey. In 2021, we plan to rock the streets and doorsteps of many, many more cities across the world, including the USA, spreading the experience and wonder of seamless, super-fast delivery that simply works for everyone. To make super-fast delivery possible, we don’t refrain from getting involved in all the aspects that go into it. However, we like to do everything in a startup-savvy way that is driven by technology.
As we expand our operations globally, it’s vital that we onboard an experienced Real Estate Expansion Manager to join us on this adventure as part of our growing Expansion team here at Getir Germany!
What you'll do at Getir
- Liaise with local and national agents/landlords to find the best possible properties for our operational needs.
- Coordinate the communication between the landlord, agent and our legal counsel
- Build and nurture the relationship between agents and landlords in the area
- Act like the company is yours! Bring your humanity to work and go beyond your initial responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for each property to assess suitability for our operation both financially and geographically
- Solve problems creatively. Don't think outside the box. Disregard the box entirely! (The box is in your mind)
What Getir Expects
- Proven experience in project management, real estate and construction industry experience is preferred, ideally, in the Frankfurt/Hessen area
- Fluency in German and English
- Travel is required
- Proven track record of delivering consistently on complex projects under challenging circumstances with a sense of urgency, but with the ability to also keep broader strategic objectives in focus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with significant experience and proven success in roles requiring ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Proven experience on managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in the entire Microsoft Office - G Suite.
- Strong planning, time management, and organization skills with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, work independently and be an effective member of a team.
- Flexible with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet on-going deadlines efficiently.
