Director, Regional Human Resources (f/m/d)
The key appointment of Regional Director, Human Resources will be responsible for advancing strategic human resources initiatives within the region including aligning global HR strategies locally, building culture and employee engagement, ensuring compliance with local laws, and enabling leader, manager and employee effectiveness.
Additionally as the Director, Regional Human Resources your responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of the German HR function.
In the role of Director, Regional Human Resources you will actively participate as a key member of the business management team in local office management meetings and in global HR initiatives.

Education:
BA or BSc Degree required or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a HR lead function, including experience in a multi-national company (preferably with a company who has a US presence) and across multiple European countries.
Must have HR operations experience in a similar role and scope
Management experience - must be able to delegate, support, engage and develop a team
Current, local employment laws, tax, and social security knowledge
Experience in working and negotiating with works councils
Excellent communication and organizational skills - fluent in German and very good English language skills
Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization
Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, and confidentiality in all matters
Proven recruitment and selection skills
Experience of payroll processes and systems
Ability to work with minimal supervision, within teams, and on own initiative
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of payroll systems.
