Who We Are
The U.S. Mission in Germany is one of the largest U.S. Diplomatic Missions in the world, due in large to its vital geographical situation, its political, and commercial importance in Europe. The U.S. Mission comprises the Embassy in Berlin and five consulates in Frankfurt, Munich, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, and Leipzig, and provides a wide array of services and support as well as playing a vital role in German American relations.
We are seeking eligible and qualified applicants (m/f/d) for our Health Unit team. This is an unlimited, full-time (40 hrs.) position.
Your Tasks
As part of the U. S, Embassy Berlin's Health Unit, you will be responsible for the medical care of Mission employees and their family members. You will maintain and inventory medical equipment and supplies, implement and administer a robust vaccination program, administer group and individual health education programs, and provide direct patient care.
Your Profile
You have a degree in Nursing or a diploma/certificate from an accredited School of Nursing, possess a valid Nursing license or unrestricted Registered Nursing license from Germany/EU, country of origin or the U.S. and have gained two years of work experience as a professional Nurse. You have strong interpersonal skills and a client-oriented disposition; good oral and written communication skills in both English and German.
