In the area of corporate banking, we have experienced a saturated market in our home country and are excited to have someone on our team who has a long tradition in relationship management in corporate banking with a good solid network with German Corporates who perhaps have operations or suppliers in Turkey and can be influential in creating and delivering corporate banking solutions designed especially for the German market.


JOB DESCRIPTION


As a relationship manager, you will be reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of corporate banking, and you will be responsible for not only deepening the foundation and trust with existing clients but creating and implementing a clear positioning strategy to win new clients within certain industry segments in Germany.

You are not only great in winning over hearts but are able to root and retain client relationships and building trust with the key decision makers.

Having a good eye for delivering the right solutions at the right time, you provide clients with knowledgeable advice, guiding their choices, promptly resolving complaints, ensuring delivery of a good customer service coupled with a premium level of onboarding experience for the satisfaction of new and existing clients.

It would be fantastic if you have had the opportunity to work together with German SMEs with Trade Finance interests on the Turkish market.

Summarised your key responsibilities are:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing companies and organizations to ensure Bank’s maximum profitability.
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of Bank’s products and services to identify and develop new businesses and market them in the identified target sectors.
  • Manage customer relationships through regular calls and visit to identify their needs, requirements, and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Establish quality profit-earning customer relationship within the target market
  • Researching and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Upselling and cross-selling products/services to clients.
  • Maintain and provide quality services
  • Resolving complaints and other issues of clients in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Meeting sales/revenue targets.

Risk Management and Operational Control

  • Keeping updated with Bank’s guidelines for its Risk Management, Compliance, other internal policies, and procedures to mitigate financial loss and fraud within the bank, and for operational control of process
  • Gathering information that is needed to prepare and assess credit applications to manage customer expectations.
  • Identifying areas of improvement in the internal processes and products.
  • Report to Department Management the status of businesses, customer complaints, pending issues in respect of the clients.
