We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative to focus on the DACH region to strengthen our sales team. As a digital-first company, we offer greater flexibility in the workplace. Therefore, you can work from our office in Munich or remotely within Germany.
You will be responsible for generating and supporting newly qualified sales opportunities. You’ll identify the appropriate contact among our target customers and get in touch with them, show the added value of our product, build interest, qualify their relevance and hand them over to the appropriate Account Executive for further support. You will select the best communication methods and craft an engaging outreach to connect with potential customers, including phone, e-mail, LinkedIn and other social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Promoting and marketing parcelLab's solutions to our target customers through persistent and timely e-mails, cold calls and targeted outreach messages on social media
- Meet or exceed monthly meeting and new opportunity targets
- Do in-depth discovery and provide relevant information to the Sales team to ensure a successful first meeting
- Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through web research
- Nurturing prospects to ensure parcelLab are top of mind at all times
- Working together with the Regional Sales Lead to grow a specific sales region or specific verticals
- Supporting the Regional Sales Lead to drive the acquisition of new accounts in the region
- Tracking all your outreach and correspondence in Salesforce
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a business development-focused role, ideally selling a complex B2B solution
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence others and maintain relationships
- Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product's selling points via phone, e-mail or social media
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex and technical issues clearly
- Excellent analytical and value selling skills
- Prior experience of using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool
- Well-organised and excellent time-management skills
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, persistent and able to work autonomously
Nice-to-haves
- Completed Bachelor's degree
- Strong technical aptitude
- Knowledge of the retail sector
- Experience working in Ecommerce/MarTech
- Prior experience working in a startup/scale-up environment
