Are you an experienced sales engineer, solutions architect, or presales solution consultant looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience in designing and delivering global MPLS WAN and SDWAN solutions for enterprise customers?


If so, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Pre Sales Solutions Architect and Sales Engineer to work for a leading international carrier and service provider. We are looking for someone who possesses data networking solution design experience with knowledge of a wide range of products and technologies including SD-WAN, MPLS WAN, ethernet, security, unified communications.


Job title: Solutions Architect (Pre sales and sales engineering)

Location: Frankfurt / Home Office / Remote

Role type: Permanent, full time

Salary: Between €80,000 - €110,000 basic (depending on experience) + 25% bonus


As Solutions Architect and Sales Engineer, you will take ownership of designing customer solutions based on IP data networking technologies. You will develop strategies to increase revenue, drive market competitiveness and create solutions that meet the demands and requirements of customers.


Key responsibilities will include:


# Actively participate in the RFI/RFP process and development of the technical aspects of proposals in line with customer needs, liaising and qualifying with other colleagues as necessary.


# Ownership of customer requirements gathering stage, conducting needs analysis and creating high level designs.


# Present HLD solutions to customers to demonstrate concepts, win support and assess solution suitability.


# Engage with internal teams across sales, marketing, operations, commercial, technology and engineering to drive solution delivery.


# Identify problems, suggest solutions, work with technical teams to resolve issues


The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a telecommunications, carrier, system integrator, or similar service provider type company.


You will possess sales engineer and presales experience in a solution design, architecture or similar customer solution focused capacity. You should have specific knowledge of IP data networking products including MPLS, WAN, IPVPN, SD WAN. Any knowledge of security, UCC, contact centre or similar technology is desirable.
