My client are a medium-sized, agile consultancy based in Düsseldorf.
Currently as expected all employees work 100% remote.
However pre-covid the travel to customer site was around 10-20%
When the restrictions lift this hybrid working model will be re-introduced
Employment is permanent and full-time.
Within the data hub we are seeking 4 Data Engineers (2 of which ,Senior Data Engineers')
Your Tasks:
- It is up to you to determine the needs of our customers
- Advising our customers on the selection of a suitable solution with a focus on data platforms
- Collection of data from primary and secondary (internal and external) sources
- Raw data must be prepared and cleansed and can analyzed and reported
- You are responsible for the high quality data preparation with SQL and Python
- Construction, integration and maintenance of ETL / ELT data pipelines and cloud infrastructures (e.g. GCP or AWS)
- Creation of continuous solutions for quality of the data flows
- Ultimately, you ensure that the data analysts and scientists can carry out complex analyzes
- With your extensive experience (senior) you will drive the development of the data team
- Tech Stack: Airflow, Kafka, Nifi, Spark, Hybrid Cloud GCP, AWS, Azure, Data modelling with Data Vault or Kimball or Snowflake Schema, ElasticSearch, Kibana
Your profile:
- Completed degree in (business) computer science or another comparable degree
- You have in-depth knowledge of SQL + Python
- Good knowledge of relational database & modeling as well as NoSQL DBs
- Cloud experience (preferably AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Fluent English, German is an advantage
- Must be based in Germany with the right the work in Germany, Nationality/VISA/Blue Card
