Then join our Automotive Microcontroller Design & Verification team to design microcontroller communication IPs for different automotive applications! As Senior Staff Engineer Digital Verification you will help us to secure the scalability of our microcontrollers over device families, packages and applications, and optimize your verification test bench by working with experts from various Infineon teams. Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
- Work on the creation of verification concepts and plans to develop and maintain digital verification test benches for automotive microcontroller communication interfaces, applying randomized and formal verification techniques
- Perform test bench quality checks by applying the corresponding matrixes (e.g. Code Coverage)
- Own and create verification related documentation to comply with relevant standards for safety (ISO 26262) and security (ISO 21434)
- Network cross-functionally with System/Concept Engineers, Application engineers, Functional Safety Management, Design, Post-Silicon Teams and Central Service Providers, within and beyond your business unit
- Proactively increase efficiency of verification activities and support active risk management

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience within the semiconductor industry in constraint random functional and formal verification
- Knowledge in automotive communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet, CAN) and interfaces with expertise in hardware verification languages (e.g. SV UVM or Specman e)
- Experience in using regression and coverage analysis tools as well as knowledge of test bench qualification, familiarity with a Portable Stimulus language is a plus
- Basic knowledge about safety standards and applications (e.g. ISO 26262) as well as an interest in security
- Proven ability to work in a team of verification engineers to undertake larger development projects
- Working experience in international and cross-functional technical teams within a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent English communication skills, German language skills are a plus
