We are looking for a Senior Exterior Designer
Desired skills and experiences:
- Essential to be degree qualified in design/automotive or similar
- Create compelling and appropriate design proposals that show the future of Chery Automotive Design in 2D and 3D form
- Work closely with studio engineering to find design solutions
- Support program timing by delivering 2D/3D properties with relevant leadership/ regulatory / feasibility requirements
- Present and communicate design proposals with clear visual presentation
- minimum of 5 years Exterior Position working experience in Automotive Design
- true understanding of the many facets that make a modern interior / exterior
- competent to bring ideas from 2D to 3D.
- Lead the Exterior development from sketch to final production by coordinating with a team of designers, modelers, and engineers
- Guide the design from the sketch phase to concept modeling in Alias or clay, and through to A-class surfacing.
- fluent in English in speaking and writing
- Mandarin language skills would be a plus
