As Senior Manager OSAT Operations you will work within the Backend cluster in the OSAT - Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test - team. OSAT plays an important role in maximizing Infineon's capability and capacity, provide the company with more flexibility and reduce the overall capital spend as Infineon grows.
Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible to establish and maintain an effective work relationship with the engineering team of European subcons to sustain good performance on key performance indicator to achieve good delivery, quality and stable test yield
- Be responsible for review, generation and release of TPECN (Test Program Engg Change Notice) / TPAC and the setting of Plan Yield and Parametric Test bin limits
- Support the Root cause analysis on customer returns, low test yield lots, and provide effective lot disposition and improvement actions
- Drive best practice sharing, benchmarking activities and supports technical capability assessments at subcons
- Review and promote cost reduction strategies, e.g. through process simplification or optimization of test hardware maintenance and spares management
- Manage cross-functional teams (internal and external partners) to ensure a smooth ramp of new products
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronic or similar
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the areas of semiconductor Final Testing or equivalent
- Technical knowhow on Final test equipment and processes (ie Teradyne, Advantest tester and Rasco, Multitest handler) including experience on Test Systems and programs (Visual ATE,UNIX, C++
- Good knowledge of BE factory processes such as IC package assembly and FE (wafer) such as lithography, etch, furnace and wafer factory inline metrology inspections
- A good understanding of quality requirements (e.g. 8D, MRB process, 9-steps quality plan, qualification release criteria, change management)
- The ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment
- Excellent communication ability in an English-speaking business environment as well as good German skills
